Ok, stupidity asides, let's talk a bit about Hastur's design. He's the spawn of Yog-Sothoth and Shub-Niggurath, so he looks a lot like them. He has Shubby's elegant hooves and tenta-hair and Yog's luminescent spheres and multiple eyes. When all the 5 (actually 6) eyes and his mouth are closed, his pale face looks like a featureless mask.
