.LL Yog-Sothoth.

I know a lot of people wished to see Yog's human-like appearence in Lovely Lovecraft since I had revealed all the other Outer Gods at the veeeery beginning. The fact is that I wasn't satisfied by the way he looked and reading through some comments I also understand how many people are fond of this particular Outer God. So I did a bit of research by asking all my Lovecraftian friends who was their favorite Deity. Beside those infidels (I'm joking ) that immediately exclaimed 'CTHULHU!' and had to undergo my rant/explanation about why Cthulhu is NOT a Deity, lots of people actually said that their favorite was, indeed, Yog-Sothoth. So yeah, I didn't want to disappoint anyone and I hope I haven't!

In LL, Yog-Sothoth is Azathoth's second in command (or he would be, if Azathoth could ever be consciously in charge of something... XD) and the oldest of the Outer Gods. He's meditative, quiet and cryptic like a Zen master, but at the same time behaves in a fatherly manner towards all the other Deities (actually towards EVERYONE. Howard included) and expecially towards Nyarlathotep who plays the 'rebellious teenager' role in the Gods' big, happy family.
They fight a lot since Yog really enjoys teasing Nyarly by calling him 'kid', 'errand boy', or saying things such as 'I ruled the Cosmos long before you even entered the larval stage! Respect your elders!' (mmmmh... the whole larvae-thing aka 'how Lovecraftian Gods are made' is a story for another time, I guess )

About the design, I wanted him to look similar to Armitage, the same way in which Nyarlathotep is pretty close (almost identical ) to Carter. In my previous color scheme, his skin tone was darker but I think that this yellowish tone looks better both on him and Wilbur. Aaaaand, speaking of Wilbur, I LOVE the fact that he doesn't look at all like his albino parents! he took hair and eye color from his grandpa.
