My absolutely favorite lovecraftian character, how much I luuuuuuuuuuuuuv him
Such a misterious figure and a great inspiration for me... I based my original novel "Mirabilia" [link] on the concept of a secret book no one may read and named the protagonist Alkazzar Alhazred as a direct reference and tribute to master Lovecraft <3. Mirabilia isn't a horror novel and doesn't share anything in terms of style or themes with his tales, but lots of its characters are indirectly inspired by Lovecraft works. For example, I created Amos after readig "The Temple", Gilles Guildfort is an evil genius who likes to play with electricity like Tesla/Nyarlathotep and Alkazzar has arab blood in his veins and is obsessed with a book. Similarities ends here but I'm sure that without HPL works I would never ever write Mirabilia. Another thing I have to thank Howie for.

I've to thank too, for suggesting me to listen to Jekyll and Hyde again... it's a musical that really fits my own concept of Alhazred brought back from the dead by unknown forces <3
